Innovative Game Project Peloton fuses History and Interactivity

Peloton is an interdisciplinary game project aiming to develop interactive historical representation using generative models.

Players join a yearly bike race set in a fictional German town from 1930 to 1944, navigating interactions with locals and the evolving Nazi regime. The project, combining dynamic change simulation and game mechanics, received an award from the Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur (Digital Game Culture Foundation) for its innovative approach.

History does not repeat itself, but we can learn from past patterns.

The challenge, as well as the potential, lies in balancing the rules of the game on one hand and adjusting the conditions and regulations for a societal simulation on the other.
